In this small trick you will learn to hide folders in your android device without any application. I will tell you how this trick may help you. If your friend took your device and opens the gallery and you have some confidential images he may find it. But you don't have the time to install an app and configure it, so this trick comes for your help. Fist of all go to the file manager and select the folder you want to hide. Select the folder and rename it with a '. ' infront. (add a dot ). to check whether it is working goto your gallery and see if you are able to find the folder   For example if I want to hide my camera images folder i will rename it to .camera and hit save. If you want to unhide your folder simply select show hidden files in file manager and rename the Folder without any dot infront of the name. For hiding files you can use this method without any application.
